What systems does Blue Roster integrate with?
Blue Roster connects to payroll, HRIS and timekeeping systems, and exposes an API for anything else in your stack. The right answer for a specific system is worth confirming on a demo, since the integration path depends on what that system exposes.
Why does scheduling need to connect to payroll?
Because otherwise the hours are entered twice and reconciled by hand. When scheduled hours, overtime classification and premium time flow through automatically, the hours you scheduled and the hours you pay stay the same number, and the weekly reconciliation stops being someone’s job.
Does Blue Roster read actual clock-in data?
Yes, where a time clock integration is in place. This matters more than it sounds: projected weekly hours based on the plan can differ from reality by the time Thursday arrives, and overtime decisions made on planned hours alone are made on stale information.
How long does integration setup take?
Most operations are running in about a day, including integrations with common systems. More unusual configurations take longer and are worth scoping on a call rather than estimating in the abstract.
